Favorite Thanksgiving Dish...

If you are a Foodie and love Thanksgiving, put your hands up!

What’s not to love about Thanksgiving? It’s a chance to show how grateful you are for the good things you have. And in this year 2020, we should all be grateful to have gone through so many obstacles. Let’s be extra grateful we can take the good, learn the right details, and adapt to the changes with our head held up high.

But let’s be honest – as a foodie at heart, we are thankful for the delicious food during this season. Every single person reading this post must be thankful for a special dish you can only enjoy during Thanksgiving Day.

Most traditional dinners consist of roast turkey, turkey stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, corn on the cob, and pumpkin pie. I just love most of these dishes, but I also love variety. Love to have the Latino side dishes sometimes my mother adds to the festivity – my favorite is the Puerto Rican Arroz con Gandules that my Mom makes.

But I would love to learn from other foodie fans out there what their special Thanksgiving Dish is. What is your favorite food on Thanksgiving? I am sure you have a favorite traditional dish or maybe a favorite dish with a twist. For example, I have heard of people here in Florida who love roasted turkey with traditional mojo marinade or have a pumpkin flan (instead of pie) – some interesting favorite dishes with a Latino twist.

I would love to hear from all of you out there. All favorite dishes mentioned below might appear on a special post in the near future. The more we share favorite Thanksgiving dishes, the more we learn from each other in a yummy way.

Let’s be grateful for these creative dishes and the fact we can enjoy them soon.

  1. My favorite Thanksgiving dish is corn casserole/pudding, a dish my grandfather passed down to me. The other two things I have to have each year for it to be the most-foodietastic Thanksgiving possible are stuffing (more commonly styled as dressing here in the Carolinas) and pumpkin pie! :-D

    1. Corn Casserole? Sounds sweet & interesting. I also wonder how each area of the USA prepares the Stuffing - I heard everyone has a different way of doing it.

Thanks for sharing your yummy options!
