Love going to Wynwood Walls & Art District once in a while. It's always entertaining to look at the different graffiti murals and art exhibitions. I always find it exciting to find new murals and art pieces in this area - it's always picturesque and unique.
A few weeks ago, as I was enjoying a nice walk after a good lunch, I noticed a cute little ice cream shop. It was an ice cream shop with a very unique name: Dasher & Crank - so I was curious to see and just went in.
The shop inside has a nice vibe; in my opinion, it has like an 80's type of vibe. It is small shop but full of light.

Once inside the shop and after checking out the cute ambiance, I had to check out the ice cream flavors. They had a great variety and everything looked sooo good, it was really hard to decide what to get.
After much consideration, I went for a scoop of the black mint ice cream and one of the chocolate crank ice cream. It was a very delicious choice! An awesome and very refreshing combination for that hot, humid day.
As I started to eat, the flavors were bursting in my mouth. Although the ice cream looks very homemade, it does have a creamy texture and very great flavor. There was something about the taste, specially about the chocolate crank ice cream, that brought to my mind some childhood memories. It reminded me of some chocolate desserts I used to have as a child.
As they said: Life is short, Eat Ice Cream. When it comes to homemade ice cream with great flavors that take you into childhood memories, then I can eat as much ice cream as possible. All I can say is that I recommend Dasher & Crank for a nice, nostalgic ice cream treat.
