🍴 Wait… NSU Has a Pop-Up Market?! A Foodie Fun Fair Discovery

 You know those moments when you discover something practically in your backyard and immediately think, “Wait… how did I not know about this?” 😂

That was me today.

I recently learned that Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Davie hosts recurring pop-up markets, so naturally, Foodie Fun Fair had to investigate. 😎🍴

I stopped by today and spent about an hour walking around the market, which was set up on the Alvin Sherman Library Quad. And I have to say—I was impressed!

The market was mainly filled with food vendors, which obviously had my attention. 👀 There was a nice variety of things to check out, along with a few vendors selling jewelry and other goods.

These recurring NSU markets bring together local vendors and small businesses, with offerings that can include artisan foods, baked treats, produce, sauces, handmade goods and more. Markets are generally held on select weekdays during the fall and spring semesters, often around lunchtime.

What I liked most was the atmosphere. It was casual, easy to walk around, and a fun way to discover local vendors while spending some time on the NSU campus.

I only stayed for about an hour today, but it was definitely enough to make me wonder:

How long has this been happening without Foodie Fun Fair knowing about it?! 😂

Now that it's officially on my radar, you already know I'll be keeping an eye out for future market dates. 👀🍴
