Considered a delicious “heat-killer,” the Creamsicle is one of those refreshing frozen summer treats perfect for cooling down on a hot summer day. That sweet, creamy and refreshing combination is simply unique. From classic orange flavors to today’s many fruit varieties, cream bar popsicles and frozen desserts give foodies plenty of delicious ways to enjoy summer.

Back in my time, my favorite was the classic orange cream bar popsicle. Whenever the ice cream truck passed by my house during summertime, ringing that little bell to let everyone know that delicious, sweet and wonderfully cold ice cream was nearby, it was almost impossible to resist!

So, this August 14th, celebrate National Creamsicle Day here in the USA by enjoying your favorite Creamsicle—and maybe sharing one with somebody special.

After all, putting a smile on someone’s face can remind us that life may sometimes be a little cold, but it can still be very flavorful. 🍊🍦
