On this Throwback Thursday, I wanted to share a nice
Mom-Daughter Lunch Date I had recently. We recently went to LongHorn Steakhouse
– one of my Mother’s favorite steakhouse restaurant. And I must admit that I love the
place, too!!!
I confess I like to order the ribeye – medium done –
with a side of veggies and mashed potatoes. My Mom loves all the steaks
available. One of the reasons why we really like this restaurant is the way the
meat is done. It’s always tender and very well-seasoned; there’s always a great
balance of seasoning and flavors.
My Mother went fancy all the way! She had the New
York Strip with an added sidekick: some grilled shrimps. She loved it to the
moon and back.
We both went a bit fancy with our drinks. We had to
order the mango margaritas. Refreshingly satisfying!
We had a great time. It gave us a nice time to bond
and catch up on a few things. And we loved everything we ate and we had a
foodie connection through these delicious dishes and drinks.
This is a great steak memory!

Wow! I haven’t been there in years. There was one near my old office and we went a couple of times every month for lunch, but I don’t have one near now.

Longhorn Steakhouse to me is the BEST steakhouse! Their steaks are cooked perfectly and the taste is incomparable.
