This past Sunday I celebrated Easter with my sisters and some friends. It's great to get closer to family and friends through a Glorious celebration like Easter.
After some time of reflection, we came together at my sister's house to have a late lunch. And it's even better when we have a Pot Luck type of lunch. From healthy salads to very creative breads (like the Pan de Cruz native treat from Europe) to great Easter treats - like yummy chocolate Easter eggs.
It was just delicious to eat a Greek salad along with baked ham and broccoli-cheese quiche for lunch. Yes, very odd items to combine but that's the fun of Put Luck. And then comes dessert. My foodie mind was in Heaven while seeing small treats like the jelly beans & chocolates and the not so small treats like Rosca de Pascua (also a very traditional European treat) and yummy ice cream.

What yummy treats do you have? Everything was very delicious for the young kids in the party and the young at heart, too.
